  1. Have a virtual Halloween Costume Contest over Zoom. You can set a theme like Disney, Monsters or Inanimate Objects. Each person gets to vote for the funniest costume, most creative, the scariest and even best pet costumes! Don’t forget to make your Zoom background spooky!

     4. Scary Story Writing. With your family or friends over Zoom, go around and take turns telling a short part of a scary story. You will probably end up with a very funny story at the end of it. You might want to kick off the story telling with one of these:

  • It was a dark and stormy night…
  • The house stood empty for as long as anybody could remember…
  • It all started when he died…
  • I was sure I was alone, until…
  • I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone, or something, was watching me…
  • A scream rang out through the silence…
  • They came from the sea…
  • Murder is never a pleasant affair, but this one was especially foul…
