Fun Fact – The fear of running out of something to read is called Abibliophiobia.

Since lockdown has started I have had more time to read and in my opinion, this book has been one of my favourite reads so far. I liked the characters as they weren’t all the same. There were some disappointing scenarios with some of the characters which contract with others. However, I think this makes the story more interesting and makes you want to know more.

Fun Fact – Up to 50 books can be made from one tree.

One of the only critsiams that I have is that it was sometimes confusing when they switched from each character’s story line. Apart from that, I really liked how they went into detail about a different aspect of the war, i.e, the wardens. As well as the detail within their private lives as well.

Overall, the book was very interesting and I wanted to carry on reading late into the night. In my opinion, I think it should be made into a movie as you don’t usually see war films that are more pointed towards wardens and other front line workers within the war.
